Nora Spinks is the recipient of the 2007 Canadian Workplace Wellness Pioneer Awards. Presented at the Health, Work & Wellness Conference, winners are chosen for their outstanding contribution to the field of organizational health. With more than 20 years experience, Spinks has become an icon on work/life consulting in Canada, talking to corporations, governments, community organizations, and conference delegates.

Nora Spinks, President of Work-Life Harmony Enterprises, has over 20 years experience consulting with corporations, governments and community organizations on work/life issues, across Canada and around the world. She has worked with hundreds of organizations in the private, public and voluntary sectors – including CIBC, RBC Financial, McCarthy Tétrault, Treasury Board of Canada, Ontario’s Management Board Secretariat, and the Centre for Families, Work and Well-being. She has designed and delivered workshops, seminars and lectures at workplaces, conferences and universities including Queens School of Business, the Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto, Schulich School of Business at York University and Richard Ivey at the University of Western Ontario. Her clients include Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, Nortel Networks, Bayer Inc., Heritage Canada, 3M Canada, BMO Financial, Canon, IBM Canada, Motorola Canada, RBC Financial Group, Scotia Bank, GSK, TD Bank and more. Nora manages her own multiple work and family responsibilities with her husband. They are responsible for two children; one 25 years old and one 12 years old, three family elders over 70 years old and one 50 year old family member with a disability.
