Jeanne Beker began her career in show business at the age of 16 and never looked back. A pioneer of music television, she is best known today as the star and segment producer of the internationally syndicated FT - FashionTelevision and host of Fashion Television Channel.

As host of FT - FashionTelevision for the past 21 years, Jeanne Beker has become a household name for viewers across Canada and in more than 130 countries worldwide.

In addition to her work on screen, Jeanne is the editor-in-chief for FQ and SIR magazines; writes style advice columns for both the Globe and Mail and Inside Entertainment…you may have seen the new documentary TV series about what goes on behind the scenes of her magazines entitled Cover Stories.

She has published her autobiography, Jeanne Unbottled: Adventures in High Style, The Big Night Out and Passion for Fashion, a book on fashion for pre-teen girls. Her new book titled Strutting It! The Grit behind the Glamour is in book stores now.  It is an indispensable guide for teens who want to earn a living working in fashion, published in 2011.

In the fall of 2003, she launched her own clothing line for women. Her ongoing community involvement and contributions to the fashion industry have won her many honours, including Fashion Group International, the Vantage Women of Originality Award, the Variety Club Diamond Award and most recently the prestigious Crystal Award for Special Achievement from Women in Film and Television.
