Gary Latham is the only recipient of both the awards for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology as a Profession (1998) and to Psychology as a Science (2002) from the society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology of the American Psychological Association.
Latham received his B.A. in Experimental Psychology from Dalhousie University, his M.S. in Social-Industrial Psychology from Georgia Tech, and his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Akron.
