Dr. Ronald Clavier is a consulting clinical psychologist who works in the corporate, health and education sectors. Formerly a research consultant in psychiatry at the University of Toronto and the Council on Drug Abuse, Ron delivers programs on managing stress and change, life balance and personal motivation. For psychologists, he offers workshops on psychiatric disorders; for educators, drug awareness, and for the police, dealing with youth and family issues, violence and drug awareness. Ron has created material for a proposed new series which will deal with youth, and is entitled Adolescence: The Stormy Decade. Pilots have aired on both Canadian Learning Television and Vision TV. His book, Teen Brain, Teen Mind – What Parents Need to Know to Survive the Adolescent Years, was published in April 2005.
